The quality of components used in your computer is the main factor in your computers (and indeed your networks) stability and reliability, a monster computer with a cheap CPU fan is a disaster waiting to happen, this does not mean that you have to buy the most expensive components, rather that you should use only components with a proven track record and that are not having to work at 100% capacity in everyday use.

More often than not no-name brands are only a few dollars less than trusted makes, and frankly a $5 dollar saving is just not worth it. Also a warranty is worthless if it can not be fulfilled, Centurion Computers only supply products with an enforceable warranty. (you are covered by our warranty regardless so its in our interest to make sure that the warranty is enforceable)

Before you decide to purchase that $699 computer from comp-u-like, read the fine print, many print based offers note a delivery charge , often in the $99 mark... does it really cost $99 to deliver a computer ? of course not , its part of the overall costing.
Some advertised systems are lemons without the `upgrades` that accompany such offers , check it out, add it up, we will wait for you here.

Imagine if you will a 3.4Ghz Hyper threaded Premium IV system, sounds nice ? well yes it is, but checkout the memory, some suppliers either don't understand Hyper Threading or choose to ignore it and give the aforementioned system a 256MB stick of DDR memory, not only is the 256MB going to be a bottleneck in the systems performance but any Hyper Threading capabilities have been instantly wasted. (& yes we have seen such offers)

By the same measure a computer with Windows98 installed and 2 Gigabytes of memory is also a waste of someone's money since Windows98 will never be able to utilize all of the available memory.
