Windows Vista , basic , premium , ultimate ?
There are six main editions of Windows Vista. We will ignore the Starter edition here since it's not even going to be an option for consumers or businesses That leaves the following Vista editions:
- Vista Home Basic
- Vista Home Premium
- Vista Business
- Vista Enterprise
- Vista Ultimate

XP PRO .. do I need it?
For some reason a lot of people seem to think that Windows XP Pro is a better/faster/whatever operating system than the regular XP Home, this is often a case of bad advice or wishful thinking, there are differences between XP Pro and XP Home editions but almost ALL of the differences surround networking issues that most home users are unlikely to encounter. Its not that simple , but unless you require Active Directory or IIS then you probably don`t need XP Pro !
Windows XP Pro also has Access Control, EFS, RIS, IIS and some other domain related features , if you do not know what the former are, you don`t need them !
- Despite rumours to the contrary windows XP home does support multi-core processors.
- Windows XP home can be part of a home or small office network.
- In fact windows XP Home itself ships with extra programs (Windows Movie Maker) and games not present in XP home.

A, Probably not. Some Pirate software looks just like the real thing , just remember that you get exactly what you pay for !.
I already have and like windows 98/2000
Good, if you have a legal copy of windows XP, windows 2000 or windows 98 you can buy any of our computers without the operating system and install your own version of windows, please let us know if you are doing this so we can format your hard drive appropriately. (For windows 95/98 we recommend using an IDE hard drive rather than a SATA hard drive)
