Internet Troubleshooting
If your computer is simply slower when you are on the internet or some websites will not load
but others will then the problem is almost certainly spyware or virus related , if so click here.
If you can not connect to the internet at all then the problem will be either
- Hardware related
Its possible your modem or modem router (internal or external) has a problem , firstly check all the cables including the phone line that goes into your modem or router, if you have a router check it is turned on.
If that does not solve the problem it may be time to give Centurion a call. - Software/Firmware
Its possible for newly installed programs (or worse still a virus or some types of spyware) to alter your computers internet connection or modem settings, this can be hard to diagnose , call Centurion for more advice.
- Provider related
All provides have downtime at some point , its often worth waiting 10 minutes and trying again, if that does not solve the problem you should give your service provider a call, normally a recorded message will let you know if there are general availability issues.
It is also not uncommon for there to simply be a billing issue with your provider, please check your accounts are up to date before calling Centurion
